yeah but its such a pain to cut the squish with out a central plug. you could do it with a 4 jaw lathe chuck but thats a pain. if i were going to race or build a serious srx motor i would go the insert route and be done with it no compronise on head design.

I know, it was kind of a joke!

You guys want inserts...check out [url=www.2strokeheads.com]2strokeheads[/url]. These guys are supposed to really know their stuff. They are using the hemispherical (yeah, it's got a hemi!) design and I guess it really kicks azz. My next set of heads are gonna come from these guys.
