Plymouth Snow Rangers Classic Race of Champions Jan 7-8 2006

Postby Plymouth » December 20th, 2005, 12:48 pm

We here in Plymouth are ready to go the ice & snow have been made. Our track crew has been working around the clock to get the track ready for the 28th annual race. We have about 13" of ice on the ice oval. The sno-cross layout is 100% man made snow. Even thou we have about 6" on the ground now, we have been running our snowmaking machine steady since the cold weather has came in. For those that want to know we will be running the sno-cross the traditional way. Left hand turns as opposed to last year's right hand turns. We are expecting a huge crowd for both days. If you have not already reserved a room please consider The Baymont Inn in Plymouth they are one of our major sponsors and have reported that registration is slow. We all know the importance of sponsors with out them no races, no added purse. To register log on to our web site at www.plymouthsnowrangers.com and you can call direct or use the online form and they will call and confirm your rooms.

Just to let everybody know that the snow we made for the snowcross track and the ice put down on the oval is holding up really well for the conditions we're dealing with. Work is going to begin again here shortly with most of it being done at night with the cooler temps. Everything is going ahead as planned and look forward to seeing you Jan 7th & 8th at Plymouth Tim

Plymouth is a big 1/3 mile with I'd say 8-10 degrees of banking - it's fast and smooth - has always provided good racing and I don't see this year being any diff. Hope to see you all here for the 28th Annual Bud Classic and Rd. 2 of the Millenium Technologies / V-Force Reeds Oval Challenge Series!!! Thanx.
A fan of snowmobile oval racing!! ;)
